Buggered HNT

1810_0022
1810_0043
It's been that kind of a week, the type of week that's a bugger and the great thing about Thursday's is that it's one step, or day, before the weekend.

I thought I'd make up for last weeks' absence by posting two of me flopped out on the bed, thankful to get out of the day shirt.

HNT & Crowley

Tar Every beginner is usually advised to use the Rider Deck, and then after a while, one can take one's pick. The deck in the picture is the Aleister Crowley Tarot Deck. I don't really use it regularly, not like I used to. Many things are said about these types of cards, and it's debatable as to whether actual futures are predicted. In my view, these decks function to give one's intuition a workout/get one in touch with that side within oneself more than anything else. It's surprising what we do in fact know, or are aware of subconsciously, things that can be overtaken by everyday pressures or simple avoidance.

A Review, & HNT Update (This week at Eroticandy)

This week has been a bit of a jam packed week for me. I'm yet to update this blog with the continuations of Stiletto (up to part IV) and Lola's Playground, and I've also been typing up longhand notes that I've made in relation to other work.

There are many highlights to this week.

The week began with the Q and A with John Q Media, and this was followed by me on Eroticandy, and now there's a review of this here blog at ABH which was put together by Dark Scribe. The striking thing about the review is the following observation:

"This is not a hearts and flowers blog and this can often make for an uncomfortable read. That discomfort is what makes this blog stand out from the crowd. It does not court popularity, often dancing a gavot with controversy."

And I completely dig it! I don't aim to provide a smooth, erotically frictionless surface and in my mind, a large chunk of making sexual inroads - for myself in terms of exploration, and writing - involves a fair share of controversy by way of exploration, and expression through fiction and non fiction.

In regard to HNT for this week: it's going to be at Eddie's place . There is not one, but three pictures there.

'Write' - HNT

Yep, that's the PC monitor behind me, so I was tidying up some stuff and shaking my head at other stuff that I didn't know I saved...and so...I guess one of the best writing quotes that is, is the following...140906_1

"The most essential gift for a good writer is a built-in shock-proof shit-detector." - Ernest Hemingway...

And all that means is that I've still got a lot of shit to shovel, or that's how I feel...(and I think that's how it can feel each day, it's not like punching in and punching out nine-to-five style).

Half-nekkid typing :D

Simulation - HNT

I know, it looks like I'm engaging in some solo fun....but it's a simulation.

Paint - HNT

Satpaint1 This is what I'm going to do right now...take a long bath, because it's been a bugger of a long day, and I'll be back to catch up on the rest of HNT World. This photo is already in my Flikr, I didn't take a new one day, but it's a couple of weeks old.

Yes, I did use photoshop to get the painted effect above, only because I felt way too naked otherwise (if that makes sense).

Up Close & Kinda Personal HNT

I got home from work thinking Thursday's nearly bloody over...flopped out on the bed, and thought of the first thing that popped up. Bed-shot!

Bath Spread - HNT

Pardon moi for keeping to the bath routine this HNT week, but I needed a little break (as I'm prodding and poking my brain matter, re: Stiletto, writing the rest of it and scratching the back of my neck because a gnat, bug...whatever the fuck, bit me). It's cold here in Sydney town, so a little heat always makes things better. I tend to overdo it on the hot water, and literally get steamed up. Steam tends to make my lungs feel like they're enduring one of those insane spin classes, or anything gym related that makes you feel like you're going to die, oops...'going for the burn.'

So I spread them, and in so doing (and looking at how this piccie turned out, yep I have kept my 'hairstyle' for quite a while now) I recalled a childhood memory. When us wayward girls didn't sit 'nicely' in the schoolyard, we had a little saying:

'Close your legs, don't want to see your hairstyle.'

Sure enough, we weren't even a quarter of the way through sprouting pubes back then, but we'd get a giggle out of it, and it prompted many curious questions about the day we'd face the pudendal Amazon forest.
